To be fair to Khan, he has taken every fight out there. Kell hasn't done that. When Amir was fighting the Garcia's of this world to see who "the man" of the division was, Kell was looking forward to trilogies with Carson Jones.

Amir's resume is better than Kell's, I think 99% would agree.

Porter was a very legitimate world champion, he was by far the favourite going into the fight and Kell beat him in his back yard - something which a lot of people don't give him credit for.

 

Brook has a better win at Welterweight than Khan although Khan has 5 or 6 better than Brooks next best win.

 

No, that would be Devon Alexander, you know, Khan's best win in nearly half a decade.

 

There is no comparison Brook has fought Porter and nobody else of note. Even some of khans lesser former opponents behind the Judah's, Maidana's, Petersons & Garcia's (remember where comparing opponents not whether he won or lost) like Julio Diaz, Kotelnik & Collazo are realistically not that far behind in talent then Porter..most will say I'm talking **** but take a minute to think about it. I would even point out that the Collazo from a few years ago who was robbed against Berto and ran a still dangerous Mosley close was quite possibly better then Porter.

 

But Khan still has that single glazing chin and will go if Brook connects regardless of previous opponents.

 

The thing that people miss is that of course Khan has fought better opponents, but it is about current levels....

Brook's most recent win was better than Khan's. Brook hasn't had the opposition to showcase just how good he is - so it is difficult to make a comparison re ability based upon competition.

Brook didn't perform at all against Jennings and won due to a cut. The fight was awful, really bad and Jennings was probably ahead on the cards or at least level after 4 rounds. When Brook caught Jennings in the 5th the ref just took him into the corner and stopped him it was really disappointing.
Miguel Cotto on the other hand did a proper job on Jennings :good
