So maybe it's against Juergen Braehmer.

I can't see it being anyone else. I dunno it might not be for a real ''world title'' like Eddie says. So i'm not sure.

That's the one I was thinking of too, was who he was meant to fight for the wbo, can't see it being against stevenson or kovalev

The plan is for him fight for a world title in September so I assume he will have 2 fights previous to that, the only options are Braehmer and Stevenson and it looks like a unification fight with Kovalev and Stevenson has to happen around that time so it must be Braehmer.

It's probably going to be Braehmer. I don't see who else it could be.

That mug Scott Gilfoid just read my thread and just made an article about it on the main page.

Hearn mentioned it on a Q and A with Cassius a day ago and he didn't make it then.

Stevenson vs Kovalev just won't happen. Stevenson doesn't want any of Kovalev

When I read the thread title I thought it was about his very next fight.

But I guess it's the right move anyway. He wasn't going to make any waves in the CW division, and at least at LHW he would be a decent contender.

Why exactly is Clev getting a title shot after getting beaten pretty decisively by C-Level Tony Bellew?

Dunno if Kovalev ruined him but if he plans on throwing as many punches as he did against Bellew again he needs to give it up

Its been demanded by the WBC so I cant see Stevenson giving up the title and it seems like Kovalev is up for the fight so it will hapeen but if not would someone have to face Kovalev for the vacant WBC title?

Braehmer is essentially the European champion regardless of that WBA farce. Its a decent fight but Braehmer out boxes him.

He should fight Enzo and retire.

Gonna guess if Stevenson v kovalev happens one of the wba/WBO/ibf will make him give up one of the belts like with calzaghe pre Kessler fight from memory

Braehmer will fight Krasniqi next and probably retain.
Clev must move up the rankings first and beat a ranked fighter.

Sure you don't mean clev is done? I think clev needs a change in trainer, he should've stayed with booth or even go with someone like joe gallagher to re ignite his career.

To be fair after that fight I think people could claim both are done at top level. Think there's still more to come tho from both.
