    Hello,

Got my nose injured during a sparring session. I'm not sure if it is misaligned because of a little swelling but it looks crooked. Pain is not unbearable but exist. No breathing problems. Bleeding through, not pouring but there is blood when I touch the inside of my nose.

Any body with such experience? Should I immediately see a doctor? Or should I wait for the swelling to go down and see if my nose is broken?

    Shlt, I don't know, kid.

Back in the day, I got my **** cracked in a cell hall. Tapped on the shoulder, and CRACK!!!

I mean, you could hear the mother f ucker crack.

I busted up the dudes head, and not one mother f ucker was tryin to stop the fight. A pack of wolves.

Anyway, I never thought about goin to the infirmary. Honestly man, I never heard of that ****, but it was what it was man.

I mean, you just dealt with that shlt. I shouldn't have done what I did to provoke that shlt.

Always two sides to the story. Remember that shlt. If someone tells you otherwise, they got something to hide or they soft on the inside.

My point is, I dont' really have a point. If you got health insurance and you pretty, go ahead and stay pretty and see that doctor.

    Why not?

If you a grimy mother f ucker like me, f uck it. I walk these mother f uckin streets. Sometimes people cross the street or turn in. Sometimes they don't. I just put on that eye contact to let people know I ain't playin.

Anyway man, you be you. It's all you can be.

i have broken nose, go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY while nose is warm, so he can get it back in normal shape.

if you dont go, you will have crooked nose, and breathing problems. I didnt go and now i`m fcked.. waiting for somebody to brake it again so i can finally go to the doctor :!:

I had similar thing week before Xmas, sparring copped a decent overhand right that really stung my nose, it felt much worse / different than previous ones...thought maybe broken at the time, blood started pouring put profusely, front teeth were tingling....n e ways finished round stepped out, took 10 mins to stop bleeding

Nose was swollen, v.tender and bruised for a week, front teeth tinlgy / tender for a week too - yes I had a mouth guard in, v. slight bruising under both eyes. n e ways three weeks on seems fine, swelling gone, still a little tender to press on inside but not disfigured, nose and bridge not outta place, can breathe fine but noticed the septal part is very loose and mobile now it moves much easier than it used to. Ive read u can tear the septal cartilage from its attachment to bone at back of nose - small vomer bone....no big probs for me at moment tho will prob try and get a firm diagnosis just to know for sure even though it doesn't bother me now. Prob doesn't help ya but thought it may be useful to hear that it happens to others too...

    Thanks mates..

ENT doctor said I'm all fine. A fracture was reported in the X-ray. Ortho doctor was referred, by him.

Ortho doctor advised me to wait till Monday for the swelling to subside and then see the nose misalignment. Also said that, they will push it from inside, if misaligned. He wanted me MANDATORILY visit him on monday, since, any delay will case the bone to heal in the current alignment.

Little nervous, since, if there is a misalignment I need to undergo this quick procedure that he mentioned.. :nut He used few other words like stitches and so, which scared the **** out of me.. :scaredas:

The worst of all, I cannot fight on Jan 26th.. I had a fight on that date and my coach is now not ready to let me fight..

The doctor says no to sparring at least for 6 weeks.. I'm doomed.. Feeling sooo unfortunate right now.. I was careless.. What was I thinking..
