Lara is very limited on the inside which is why he avoided exchanging on the inside at all costs against Canelo (even if it meant doing nothing more than back peddling for long stretches). Meanwhile, GGG is a much better pressure fighter than Canelo. GGG would lay him out within 8 IMHO.
his mobility and insane reach won't help him against GGG. He will get cornered and BOOM, horizontal Lara.
Lara will put on his Jackie Joyner shoes especially for GGG. He'd get ko'd and then claim he got robbed.
i can see lara moving and throwing good left hands till ggg catches him with something big. leaning towards ggg just on size edge alone. make a fight Lara would be the best fighter ggg has faced so far wont hurt.
Lara always gets caught early in a fight that will be his chin check. If he survives that he can beat GGG with much better boxing skills.
Their in-ring weights are the same, and Lara might even be a little bigger. This would be the most intriguing Boxer vs. Puncher matchup available. Both guys can hit, both guys can box, both guys are a nightmare for just about anybody, and they weigh the same! I have to go with GGG because Lara does get hit. But it would be a great fight to see.
I like how people were saying this was a close fight but now that Canelo beat Lara GGG but huggers are saying GGG would beat Lara with ease. Why don't people just admit Canelo is a good fighter? People were saying Lara would take Canelo to school but he didn't
