I heard rumours Nathan Cleverly is moving down to LHW to fight for a world title

I'm surprised to hear this. If Clev drops nicely back to light heavy my tiny brain suspects the whole "have a couple of fights at cruiser and a twelve round tickle fight against my other fighter" was all a bit of a fix for the pay-per-view by fast Eddie.

Not convinced by that, personally I think he got battered by kovalev didn't fancy any of stevenson and thought it would be easier for him at cruiser. I think he used the weight as a way of telling himself that was the reason kovalev hammered him. To me he just looks like a man who doesn't want to be in there.

you dont let a bum like bellew, and i dont call boxers bum's often. but tony bellew is one. Anyway you cant let the bummer get you on the ropes for 4rounds and not throw one punch back, he should be ashamed of himself. and the scouser should bummer should be even more ashamed he couldnt KO a dead man on the ropes. Cleverly may aswell retire. or he's in for a beating. He could of stayed at LHW and faced braehmer, and thats a winnable fight.

I'm disgusted with him after the Bellew fight. Never watching him again.

    Embarassing. Needs to retire

Understand you not liking bellew but he's hardly a bum, fought at world level at light heavy and at a good level so far at cruiser. Bellew looked quite sluggish in that fight, but give him his due he came out and admitted it wasn't a good performance as opposed to cleverly who started going on about how that fight showed his 'character'

Maybe Cleverly should fight Enzo that is a fight I actually want to see. Cleverly and Braemer have already been scheduled for a fight when Braehmer was WBO champion.

Cleverly needs to do something. He looked awful against Bellew, really awful. I can understand fans boycotting his fights after that performance.

Boxing can be a funny game, when he had the title at light heavyweight, he looked good. I reckon he could have beaten Hopkins, unfortunately he ran into kovalev. Now after the Bellew fiasco, he looks completely done as a world class fighter. For whatever reason, he was terrible v Bellew, I couldn't see him beating Braehmer on that evidence.

Used to be a big fan of Cleverly but after the Kovalev fight he just looks like he doesn't want it anymore. The performance against Bellew was awful. Maybe he will be better back at LHW but I'm not convinced.

When a fighter suffers a defeat they often dont come back the same and Nathan just didnt seem like the same fighter against Bellew. I wonder if that is due to the Kovalev defeat?
I wonder if Nathan vs Enzo Mac would sell as a big local fight? Possibly after a tune up each?
The winner may go on then to get another opportunity
