I got a feeling pascal will land some shots vs Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev, but then get too confident and punch him self out, coupled with the KRUSHERS brutal rib breakers. Pascal will be stopped in this one for the 1st time in his career, hes a tough cookie aswell. :deal

'It is March 14 next unified WBO, WBA and IBF, Sergey Kovalev pursues his dream of dominating the Mid-Heavyweight division. For he who is called "Krusher" is to conquer the only crown he lacks, that of the WBC. However, a major obstacle stands in its way, the former world champion Jean Pascal.

The Main Fight had the opportunity to meet with the boxer of 2014 by Sports Illustrated for Jean Pascal, Adonis Stevenson and Artur Beterbiev.

Jeff Jeffrey Emond: Hello Sergey! Welcome to Quebec!

Sergey Kovalev: It's always a pleasure to visit you!

European Youth Day: Do you think that Jean Pascal will be easier since you opponent Bernard Hopkins dominated during your last exit and that Pascal has not succeeded in defeating the latter two occasions?

SK: I think not. All this seems simple on paper, but this is not the case, because each situation is different. For Hopkins, I had to outsmart the master of the ring in person with a boxing game plan and not of destruction as he expected. Pascal gave two good battles Bernard and won against Chad Dawson. I expect a strong performance from him, since he always comes out hard when the stakes are high.

JEJ: Clearly, trust you live that you will defend your 3 titles in Pascal. What are your comments?

SK: That's right! I'm not afraid to travel to defend my titles and my reputation, which is more important. I would not be champion if I would not have taken the risk to face Nathan Cleverly at home in Cardiff, Wales. It's the same with Ismael Sillah in Quebec and Bernard front of a partisan crowd.

It's the same for Jean Pascal, an excellent boxer, often unpredictable and former world champion of the WBC. It is even more important to beat him home to solidify my reputation.

I'm not a businessman, but a boxer. I want to give people the exciting fights, both here in the United States or back home in Russia. I do not shrink from any challenge.

JEJ: You have to defeat you Pascal for the chance to steal the title of Adonis Stevenson.

SK: In times and places. I think only Pascal currently.

JEJ Artur Beterbiev also wants to face you. What are your thoughts on his recent success?

SK: It's no wonder. Beterbiev is excellent and very aggressive. I would not be surprised if our paths cross and it would be good for boxing.

European Youth Day: Thank you Sergey!

    SK: Thank you!
    .....................................

Artur Beterbiev interview. He wants a slice of the Kovalev pie too.

'Following the destruction of Jeff Page Jr. and former champion of the IBF Medium Heavy Tavoris Cloud, Artur Beterbiev feels an attack to unseat Sergey Kovalev, his rival for the Russian national team, unified champion division. Artur electrified the fans of Quebec once again.

The Main Fight had the opportunity to meet with the Russian Rocket after the annihilation of Jeff Page Jr at the Pepsi Coliseum.

Jeff Jeffrey Emond: Hi Artur! How do you feel after your performance?

Artur Beterbiev: I'm fine, I'm happy with the result tonight.

JEJ: You visited the mat in the first round for the first time in your career. To be fair, Page appeared to have his feet on the holds when the coup occurred. Can you explain what happened?

AB: It woke me up, but mostly angry. From that moment, I really wanted to hurt him. He put his feet on mine inadvertently and blow came at the same time.

European Youth Day: It was at this moment that you decided to end?

AB: Absolutely! I was not myself in the first round. The real Beterbiev rose to the second recovery. Page was brave as it is raised twice, but the third was good.

JEJ: You boxed for the first time the prestigious American network Showtime. What are your impressions of this experience?

AB: I think I offered that Showtime expected of me, of the action, nothing less. I hope to have another opportunity.

European Youth Day: What's next for your career?

AB: I really want to face Sergey Kovalev. This is the fight I have in mind for the future.

    European Youth Day: Thank Artur.

    AB: Always a pleasure.'

Looking forward to this fight. Krusher looks unstoppable right now, but Pascal is a legit quality fighter and this should be a good fight.

Kovalev should work Pascal's body early. Pascal's not known for his stamina.

Pascal looked like a better, faster, slightly improved fighter after his loss to Hopkins. I know he always fought like a poor man's Roy Jones, but his timing seemed to improve. Perhaps Pascal is peaking? Kovalev is a great fighter, he is great for boxing, but I think so is Pascal, he's never ducked anyone. It would not surprise me one bit if Pascal shocked the world. He only seems to get better.

pascal will win this fight...probably by ko. he's got faster hands, quicker reflexes....hes' rough and tumble. pascal will be 190 on fight night...this is not caparello or agnew...or 49 year old, natural middleweight hopkins. this is a young, strong, hungry champ who saw a weakness in kovalev and he's gonna put the russian away.
