mayweather has no choice, who else is he going to fight that will satisfy showtime financially? I think showtime is pushing for it because mayweather's PPV have been dropping and floyd has a ridiculous guarantee.

This is false. Floyd was ranked #2 in the division and #7 p4p when they fought.

If Corrales was ranked #1 then the fight would have been for the lineal championship. Casamayor was ranked #1 iirc.

Corrales didn't crack the p4p lists until later at lightweight.

Edit: Tracked down the research and I was wrong.

Still, if you think Corrales had earned his rankings then you're crazy. I refused to believe it until I found multiple sources. He had like 4 title defense and his best win was Manfredy

I don't know if this is a factual list.

If Corrales was #1 and Floyd was #2, their fight would have been for the RING title, and it wasn't. :huh

Also, there's almost no way I can see Corrales being ranked over Floyd, Freitas, and Casamayor at that point in time. it just doesn't make any sense at all looking at his record.

He posted on his twitter he thinks it's a legit chance.

That's something as usually he's uber pessimistic about it happening.

Bruh, you need a woman in your life. Seriously. Get your mind off of Mayweather's life for a minute and try to get your own together.

My goodness, the youth are doomed. :verysad

Manny Pacquiao will fly to the United States on January 15 to honor some commitments and “Hopefully to sign the contract for my next fight.”

According to Pacquiao, the negotiations for the mega-buck fight with American undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. are “almost done.” He refused to elaborate, though.

Pacquiao will be in the USA for at least 11 days (Jan. 15 to 25). Is this the start of the biggest fight promotion ever?
