Decent post Drozzy, but I don't think Quillin would beat Mora. He struggled to win rds vs NDam, and Mora's got 10X the chin.

If Mora SNAKES that title, he'll fight GGG. He is dying for a 1 mil payday since turning down the first Taylor fight, and he'll undoubtedly get that if he fought a unification fight with GGG, whereas GAYMAN would never put that kindof $$$ up vs Quillin.:think

Seems like the only way that would happen is Jacobs side pushing for the mandatory shot and winning purse bids if they don't want to fight on HBO.

I guess the WBA could order that fight up. They ordered GGG to fight Jarrod Fletcher. Jacobs has that belt now.

Kirkland is fading into irrevelance. Lot of big moves being made by managers and promoters someone should make it clear to him it's time to take your chance.

Don't know who is gonna fight Golovkin but wouldn't it be nice if cotto could shake off that bit of yellow dog that's in all Puerto Ricans and fight him

I find it quite amazing that Martin Murray is being so easily overlooked by the vast majority of this board.
Perhaps it is a testament to how dominant GGG has been in the mw division lately, but there is no denying that Marray could potentially be the best fighter that Golovkin would have faced as a pro.
His only loss was a close decision to a likely HOF candidate.

I certainly wouldn't bet any money on Murray to pull off the upset, but he's proven to be a very capable and durable pro who stands a better chance than many of GGG's recent opponents to take him late into a fight.

Just seems a little premature to be discussing what next for Golovkin when he already has a signed fight with one of the better guys in his division.

Every time GGG has been in the ring with "the best opponent so far" or his "first real test" the fight doesn't see the 4th round.

I thought Murray fought better vs Sturm than Macklin did even though all you hear about is how Macklin was robbed.
Thought Sturm was lucky to get a draw.
I thought Murray did enough to win in Argentina too.
Golovkin is better than Martinez, Sturm, and Murray though. IMO

Yep. And afterwards the "test" was a mere bum and he hasn't faced anyone yet. :conf
