Lemieux has Rubio problems. Either ways, I really don't care who wins or loses Canelo-Lemieux would be a helluva fight. Lemieux has nice pop to his punches. He should fight Lara.

Very simple translation Canelo is more physical = younger, stronger, bigger.

your a fool if you think not. it gets signed right after May-Pac! There just waiting so they can plan the date. Canelo wants May 2 but Oscar told him its May-Pac fight date. so once its signed then Cotto-Canelo is on!!

You wanna talk about classic, this will be a classic. maybe both fighters down (I think Canelo down at least once for sure) blood everywhere, true rivarly.

UNLESS Lemieux shows up as a harmless bribed punching bag and doesn't hit back or try...like Angulo vs. Canelo.

Naw Buck, you're expecting a classic fight and I just don't see that happening. Caneloe is honestly going to demolish Cottoe with ease. People are going to be shocked at how bad he makes Kneeguel look.

Naw your crazy bro. Cotto beats him, wont be super easy but Caenlo has never fought anybody like Cotto. not even close.

All canelo's biggest fights he really didnt do good. (Mayweather,Trout,Lara) Now hes fighting his first boxer/puncher, the strongest punchers hes faced, moves around so wont stand in one spot.

Canelo would have to dig deep to win that fight. them body punches mioght just cripple the man

yeh but after cotto being a primadona about everything canelo prob just wants to make the fight. canelo is about as big of a star as cotto is at the moment so hometown or not its very hard to rob a fighter with that much star power (though iv been suprised before, pac brad 1 for example)

If he doesn't land the Cotto fight, I'd suspect Clottey's name to resurface as a possible opponent.

i love cotto i really do. he is a gutsy fighter and amazing to watch but really how do people think he is going to take on a young strong guy who weighs on fightnight as heavy as alot of natural middleweights ?

if the fights at 160 you can gaurentee canelo will prob have more fuel in the tank and i feel he will simply out muscle cotto. i think cotto will attempt to work well behind the jab and fight the exact same fight he fought in the margarito rematch but it just wont work..

    Haha

    I know right...

Everybody who acts like it's so easy you have to sort of raise an eyebrow at.

All the strategy and prep in the world can go out the window in literally 30 seconds and no matter how focused and dedicated you are and how logically great the punches you want to throw are you can't do anything about it. It's why the term "the better man" is used in boxing in so many contexts. I'll be the first to admit I've been beaten down heavy with the gloves and I've got to say that usually it is obvious to viewers pretty quickly. It just happens. That's why there are so many one sided fights even among the absolute highest caliber of boxers in the world. If it were so easy, there'd be far more two-way action fights and far more KO1's.
