Khan is a harder fight for Floyd than Manny

Sure I will get some serious stick for saying that.

But I honestly think he will struggle with Khan more.

    Styles make fights.

I think people see Manny and they see speed and power.

They look at Khan and they see speed but a weak chin.

Let's remember that Manny has lost twice just like Khan and he hasn't had a knockout since Cotto.

Plus we have to look at the Marquez fights. Manny has always struggled in them. I think losing the third easily and getting sparked out in the forth. Marquez and Floyd have similar styles but Floyd is better in each aspect of the game. If Marauez can do that to Manny then imagine what Floyd could do.

With Khan you have youth, unreal stamina and heart and blistering speed and pressure. Look at what Maidana did to Floyd.

I honestly think if you look at styles and look at opponents and previous fights then Khan will give Floyd a much harder fight.

I'm not saying he'll lose but at this stage in all their careers I think Floyd will outpoint Manny comfortably and just edge Khan over 12 rounds.

Like I said I'm sure many people will disagree which is why this sport is so great.

I think the general consensus is that manny hits much harder than Floyd.

Therefore he should have an easier time with an opponent has struggled with punchers. Don't think your statement is controversial at all.

    Going racial. Nice!!!!

Like most people on here you are looking at the obvious rather than breaking down the technical side and giving a real answer.

Like I said it's just my opinion based on what I know and what I've seen.

You should also know that although I'm a Brit and I love amid Khan I am a HUGE mayweather fan and if that fight happens I'll be cheering for Floyd.

I agree that manny hits hard. But Floyds never been down and manny has no knock outs in a few years. The power isn't a problem did Floyd. I think if manny gives him problems and that a big if in my book it will be from speed a pressure but I think Khan can do that to Floyd better than manny.

They are both hard fights to call though. I just hope they both happen

I'm not so sure about that.

Saying Floyd has a similar style to Marquez is like saying Pacquiao has a similar style to Khan. So if you say Pacquiao will struggle with Floyd because he is a counter puncher like Marquez you could also say Floyd wil struggles with Pacquiao because he also is aggressive and throws fast combo's like Khan.

You say Floyd will struggle with Khan's stamina, heart, speed and pressure but Pacquiao also posses all those things plus more power, experience and a better chin. Pacquiao's southpaw stance could also pose Floyd more problems than Khan's orthodox stance.

If you are talking about styles you could also say that Khan struggles somewhat against counter punchers too, he has been hit with counters many times. Khan is probably easier to hurt, knock down and knock out than Pacquiao due to their chins so that improves Floyd options. He could KO Khan or could win on points and a points win could be aided by knockdowns.
Due to Khan having less power and a weaker chin than Pac, Floyd can risk taking a punch in order to land a punch against Khan. If he does that against Pacquiao, he will likely come off worse.
Floyd is also a good inside fighter, Khan is a poor inside fighter and would struggle against that.

I checked some betting odds - not sure if I read the numbers right but Khan was given a slightly better chance to win than Pacman which I found a bit ridiculous.

I do get what your saying.

I just think that Floyd and Marquez are more a like than Khan and manny though

Plus I dong think chins will come in to this. Can't see a knock out in any possibility.

Think khan loses both handily, the difference being that manny may well bomb him out ala Hatton.

Yeah I think that manny would beat Khan. Like I said styles make fights.

lets say Floyd beats manny and Khan beats Floyd, it doesn't mean that Khan beats manny

    Styles make fights

I get what you're saying too. I agree that Khan could be a more difficult fight or cause Floyd more problems, I just don't think guaranteed. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Floyd has never fought anyone like Khan or Pacquiao so it's difficult to predict who he will struggle against more. I wouldn't have expected Maidana to have more success against him than Canelo or Marquez did but look what happened.

Its all subjective, what's not debatable is that Pacquiao deserves the Floyd shot more than Khan. This is what boxing needs, the biggest ****ing fight ever. Not a way in hell I would let Floyd fight Khan before he even fights Pacquiao.
