My favourite, the one the only, the legendary Atlantice City Express (A.C.E) Sir Bruce Seldon himself.
Michael Moorer. Michael Bennt Herbie Hide Buster Douglas John Ruiz Bruce Seldon Oleg Maskaev WILDER stops or wide UDs all of them.:good
Hell no, they were good fighters. Anything Wilder does, Douglas does better. Ruiz, boring as he was, was competitive with the likes of Holyfield, Golota, Chagaev, Valuev, Oquendo, Toney and Rahman. He certainly wasnt a poor fighter, id say he was better than Stiverne and Wilder for that matter (as of now).
Ruiz. Completely fraudulent record, built on blatant rules violations - excessive holding, faked "low blows," etc. And, like Wilder, got title shots without deserving them, repeatedly.
He fought a lot of names and was competitive with them, so he cant have been all that bad. Seldon on the other hand was a joke.
Seldon was a joke, certainly, but at least he wasn't a cheater like Ruiz. The only reason he was "competitive" is because of King's influence in getting friendly treatment for his illegal holding, something he did any fight he "won" against legitimate fighters. To say nothing of the shameful faking of "low blows" in several others to get undeserved point deductions or DQs. Ruiz was a fraud and a cheater, and because of that disgrace he brought to boxing, the worst HW titlist not only of the last 20 years, but of all time.
