    for months mayweather has been backed into a corner by the fans the media and most importantly his boss moonves to fight pac he has succumb to the mounted pressure and for once has agreed to discuss making the fight even though he is trying to get out of the bout cotto and canelo is of that means mayweather has found his get out of jail card he will cherry pick cotto:patsch and tell espinoza to tell the public the talks with hbo have broken down so they will look for anther opponent

    2015 is no different ducking and cherry picking is alive and well

    this now has become beyond ridiculous. Pacquiao is acting like a little 5 year old girl tweeting silly childish things to Floyd; 80 year old Arum acting immature and purposefully trying to get Floyd annoyed;Floyd being Floyd and not saying anything;showtime and hbo seemingly talking but probably fighting like girls;floyd sr saying idiotic things etc... It's like a bunch of kids..

    Floyd doesn't like being cornered because he always wants to show that he's in control. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd ends up fighting Cotto. It's VERY ODD to me that the Cotto vs Canelo talks were suspended given how big this fight would be. I have a suspicion that Floyd wants Cotto on May 2nd, so he can get middle weight belt. Knowing Floyd, he would love nothing more than to f with the public and Arum...

    So you're ok with Floyd not taking the biggest payday and the fight fans want him to take just because he doesn't feel like it. Good riddance.

    Look at the pac****s trying to clinge on to anything to say Floyd is ducking. Neither Floyd nor PAC have announced their opponents, negotiations are confirmed and according to sources its the networks bickering it out. God forbid a pac**** use facts to try to make up a thought.

    Team canelo/GB put a time clock on cotto. Cotton from the get go advised he is side A and there needs to be a mutual understanding of this. Canelo did nothing to respect cotto's request. Kind of like the time when arum put a time clock on Floyd (yea, pac****s don't bring this up)

    An opinionated article. It's taking unauthoritive opinions from other articles that support his view and mushing them together. None are truly from any valuable source.

    Dan Rafael has lost much credibility by reported a lot of false reports and being quick to trash the fight in many instances.

    I'll stick Lance Pugmire, since he's been very good and unbiased through this process. His most recent tweet was yesterday;

    "A top authority told me that despite the Canelo/Cotto trouble, Pacquiao remains Mayweather's top choice."

    Both sides have worked extremely, extremely hard on these negotiations. Floyd wants Pacquiao, and Pacquiao wants Floyd. All that is left to be worked out is the HBO/Showtime deal. According to Kevin Iole, the fight's negotiations are MORE than 80% complete.

    Mayweather isn't going to throw everything over his shoulder, all the hard work, to just settle with Cotto.

    It would be like wanting to be a pilot. You take the courses, do the time, and hard work to get to the position. Then, when it is time to accept your new job at Fedex, you turn around and go, "Actually, I want to be a doctor!"

    Isn't going to happen. People think Floyd hasn't been involved since he's been quiet, but I can promise it is far from that. He has been very involved in trying to make this happen.
