In my case I do a little of everything, but I do my own research cos I know what I am looking for. I look at the results of all the fights in the US, Mexico and Canada. I then look at anybody in my guy's weight class, and I look at a weight class below and above my guys weight class. You never know who will be in yours guys future.

Kool..thnks for that link..when youre managing a good fighter..after how many fights is average before he should be fighting for the title? (if everything is done right.great skills &great team behind him).does he have to go throug the rankings..e.g.. beat the #4 ranked fighter..than #3..than#2..?...does it depend on quality of opponents under his belt?.does it depend how good the manager is at negotiating?.WHATS THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY. in your opinion-to take your guy to the championship fight?..fighting low risk fighters to build up record?.(Alot of fightes do that..Yori boy Campas..JC.Chavez jr..etc).:good..i think Michael Moorer got there in 8 months!!..sorry for so many questns...

when youre managing a good fighter..after how many fights is average before he should be fighting for the title?
To give you an example, I have a fighter who is 16-0, with a major promoter, he is 20 yrs old, he is not ready to fight a title fight and I can't see him fighting for one in the next 2yrs. I believe in letting the kid mature in the ring and physically. I don't want him to just win the title I want him to defend it.

(if everything is done right.great skills &great team behind him).does he have to go throug the rankings..e.g.. beat the #4 ranked fighter..than #3..than#2..?...
No depends who the fighter is and who is the promoter, does it depend on quality of opponents under his belt?.
Again No. The promoter and manager lobby the ranking organizations to move their fighter along in the ratings does it depend how good the manager is at negotiating?.Not really

    WHATS THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY.
in your opinion-to take your guy to the championship fight?..fighting low risk fighters to build up record?.
That's where a good matchmaker comes in, choosing the right opponents where the fighter learns and gains the experience he needs to compete at a higher level. That's why I study the fighters around my guys weight class above and below.

(Alot of fightes do that..Yori boy Campas..JC.Chavez jr..etc).:good..i think Michael Moorer got there in 8 months!!..sorry for so many questns...
Don't worry about asking too many questions you are trying to learn.

When you lobby the ranking organizations, you are pushing your fighter to be ranked higher, or looking for a title fight. opportunity.
Yes I was his purse was 350k. With Jesus it was one heartbreak after another. Have you seen the Erick Morales fight? He fought from the 2nd rd on with only his left hand, his right shoulder gave out so from the 2nd rd to the 12th his right hand was useless. Jesus went from injury to injury, right shoulder, both knees, then his title winning fight against Leavander Johnson, in which Johnson passed away. The next fight would have been with Marco A Barrera, but again his left shoulder gave out and we had to bow out, then came Julio Diaz, Jesus was defending his title, again bad luck his knee gave out in the third rd.
If you get a chance look at Jesus' documentary on Youtube, it's called "Split Decision". The fight in part 9, made Chavez in Mexico.

I did see the whole documentary demps.& his fight against E.Morales.(and other ones)...question..why did he (matador)...have so many injuries?..he had no addictions to anithing bad(that i know of)..he ate /lived healthy..why the knee injuries?.how does that happen.just like to know.., is that from training?
    why the injuries?..$350 k..against Mayweather.?!.seams kinda low to me..thats what i think..
the way i look at it..wen he faught Mayw..he just got too sloppy..and ..desperate...thats my point of view..if he wouldve took his time..i REALLY think he had the skills to beat Mayweather !! !! ...Jesus just got tired towards the last rounds..common sense..he wasted double energy by wanting to finish Maywthtr early..thats just the way i saw it.:good....
