Have some questions for Pinoy/Kirk/whoever is familiar with the scoring system

    1. Drew101 250-65 (117 KO) 2014 CHAMPION
    2. Bladerunner 251-70 (144 KO)
    3. David B 249-70 (127 KO) 2012 Champion
    4. FIGHTER2R 244-77 (130 KO)
    5. Jordan1 234-70 (115 KO)

How does it work actually? Is it just a % based scoring system?

The winner's # of KO's seem to be lower than the lower ranked individuals. Do KO's have anything to do with how the scoring is judged, is it given any sort of consideration whatsoever? Thanks!

    * The most important factor in ranking is your wins and losses....

    * KO's determine ranking when two people are tied in wins and losses (for example, look at our current rankings, where many people have the same record but are ranked on how many KO's they have)

Not that this means anything but....

Seems like out of boxings greatest trilogies, most of the time, the boxer that lost the first fight and wins the second fight, wins the trilogy.

    Ali vs Frazier
    Gatti vs Ward
Vasquez vs Marquez (I don't really count the fourth fight)
    Pac vs Morales
    Morales vs MAB
    Gonzalez vs Carbajal
    Patterson vs Johansson
    Corrales vs Casa

    :think

    Just kinda interesting to me.

If Rios wins, it will be kinda unique.

Makes sense. Most of the time the winner of the second fight has figured out his opponent and identified his keys for victory which he couldnt do in time in their first fight. But it wouldnt be complete unique. Ri**** Bowe vs Holyfield and Griffith vs Paret (rip) comes to mind

As the Alvarado/Rios fight is closer is closer, the more worried I'm becoming. I don't know Alvarado irl but the man should call it a day after this.

He's taken far far too much punishment in his last couple of outings. It's deadly stuff. He seems like a legitimately great guy, I don't want to see him impaired by a brain deficiency by the time he's 40 .

I want to see him win but it's looking like it's not going to happen.

The videos I'm seeing of him is really shocking stuff. He looks like he's completely out of it, looks high, he used to be far more articulate. He's not slurring his speech yet but it does look like he's getting there soon.

Let's hope he can pull this out, 1 last fight. Really Hope he does.

This goes for Rios too to a degree. These two guys have led a great career. It's about time they give it up.

The human brain isn't able to take punishment like this year after year.

It sounds like you're on your way to possibly switching to Rios by fight time.
