Amazing how much Murray has been abandoned by any "fans" he used to have. When he appeared on the scene at first all sorts of fellas were on here singing his praises. He could do no wrong. I was nearly lynched for having the cheek to be pointing out his shortcomings.

Now, coming up to the biggest fight of his life, he is being ignored.
    People sure are fickle.

I’m not sure people are being fickle about him, he’s just coming up against P4P the best fighter in the division (IMO). He has been very unlucky in his career, I thought he beat Sturm by a few rounds and also edged Martinez but didn’t get either decision and now he is coming up against a beast in GGG.

He should have been the lineal MW champ by beating a crippled Maravilla. He did pretty good against Sturm, but unlike Macklin he wasn't robbed in that fight like many claim.
After the Martinez fight he fell off the wagon and had a couple of pretty flat performances against guys he should have dominated.
Now he's fighting Golovkin, and there's a good reason people don't give a dime for his chances against a guy who's walking right trough guys around Murray's level.

Martin will have big fights ahead post-Golovkin. He will lose to 'GGG' the same way everybody else will at 160.

I don't think he'll mentally crumble the way Macklin and Rubio did though, and will be able to rebuild well enough to get big fights against guys like Lee and Saunders in big British s****s.

Nothing " fickle " from me, i've made numerous posts about Murray.

I'm pretty sure he'll surprise a few people against Golovkin.

Macklin and Rubio crumbled the minute the fights were announced.

Turning up with a defeatist attitude and looking for an excuse to get it over with ASAP is just the same as stealing wallets from your fans.

Murray might lose, but he won't turn belly up the minute the first bell rings.

    So be it.

    Like i said, i don't do fickle.

    Don't do demographics.

    And don't jump on bandwagons.

Murray is Britains ( Macklin and Lee are also 100% British ) best MW by a long stretch, whether thats good enough to serious challenge Golovkin remains to be seen, but we'll know the answer very soon.

    :good

I'd have another look at Boxrec, i checked five minutes ago and they list his birthplace as Bow, London.

Just in case your geography ain't all that, London is a big city in south east ENGLAND. :good

He's as English as Yorkshire pudding and Buckingham Palace.

    God save the queen.
