not sure who id favour in rios maidana think maidana might win tight though. I think mattesye is the best oit of them but provo would win a tournament with all them

Head to head would have different results than overall ranking. For example Rios would have more trouble with a pure boxer than Matthysse, but in a straight war between the two Rios stands a better chance.

Matthysse rates No. 1 almost solely off of that Peterson KO. Got outclassed by Garcia. Didn't bother to start punching until the final 4 rounds against Judah and Alexander.

I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana or Provo beat him.

    Matthysse (beats them all)
Maidana (50/50 with Provodnikov, beats Rios)
Provodnikov (50/50 with Maidana, beats Rios)
    Rios

    At 147

Maidana (50/50 with Provodnikov, beats Matthysse and Rios)
Matthysse (50/50 with Provodnikov, beats Rios)
Provodnikov (50/50 with Matthysse and Maidana, beats Rios)
    Rios

This was not easy to do. These guys would make a great little tournament.

I think Rios is getting a bit overlooked, Pacquiao beat him (to be expected) and so did Alvarado, but Alvarado moved and boxed him, only Matthysse on this list could and probably would do that vs him. I've seen the video of him roughing up Maidana in sparring too, and I think he's stronger and more durable than Ruslan.

Maybe but it's very close between all these guys imo so the reason other guys are getting picked over Rios is their current resume's. The other guys have done a bit more/looked more impressive at 140/147.
