Definitely strange but I highly doubt it was to distract Judah. And yea, you're right, Judah won the first half. I don't know why I thought you meant he won 6 rounds like some people like to say.

No...that's exactly what happened...Floyd even said that was their entire gameplan. He spoke openly how Judah didn't have good stamina and gassed out mid-fight, and he would exploit that. He did. He wore Judah out by the 5th round and just dominated him after that. Same with Mosley but earlier. I'm not discrediting Mayweather for it. It was a weakness that he capitalized on! It was smart!


And you're right about Pacquiao/Bradley 2. Bradley was so fatigued. That's one of the struggles with fighting Pacquiao. He fights at such a flipping fast pace, high intensity, and increasing his work rate as fight goes on...it's sooo hard to keep up. Even a prime, exquisitely conditioned Bradley couldn't physically handle it.

 

Mayweather's weakness is the feint from a fast fighter. The best time to hurt Floyd is in the first 4 rounds when he's still trying to figure you out.

Pacquiao fights at such a broken rhythm too, it's going to be really hard for Mayweather to time him. He'd figure it out, but Idk if he can do it in just 12 rounds...plus, Pac changes and adjusts every round as well ugh...dude, this fight is for the ages. The mental battle that will be going in the ring will be as big if not bigger than the actual fight.

How far does Mayweather's skill to adjust go? Is it limitless? We'll hopefully we find out!

If Marquez can time Pac, so can Mayweather. Pac doesn't even adjust, he's so one dimensional, 10-2, or 9-3 mayweather, unless Pac goes full retrd and starts muai thai kneeing floyd, and hitting the back of his head.
