I'm slightly bemused by the "Hatton Out" calls.

Firstly, when did a fighter's style dictate where they appeared in any list that is based upon stats? Secondly, his one loss is to the P4P#1.. absolutely no shame in that whatsoever. I also don't see how you can give "someone more deserving" a place in the Top 10 based on speculation... I'm sure there are boxers out there who _will_ dominate their divisions in years to come, so when they do, they'll get in the Top 10. Boxing is about earning it - not deserving it.

Give him some credit though - change of division, change of fight location, a poor fight (which he won), and he had the balls to take on probably the best boxer of the current generation for his 2nd fight at that weight.

Good list - although I may have put Joe at #2, I've no problem with him at #3 given the stats for Pac.

    Have to agree with this....

Although being probably just as controversial, I see Hopkins coming out of the top ten and Ivan Calderon coming into it. Cant be bothered to jig the order around but if that swap was made I'd be happy with the top ten.

Reason for dropping Hopkins is that he dropped down to about 8/9 on my list following back to back losses to Jermain Taylor. Win against Tarver didnt move him as I didnt have Tarver in my top ten and win against Winky didnt move him as Winky was fighting at 170. Loss to Calzaghe makes him drop and I'm leaning towards putting in Calderon who just nicks it.

Couldnt argue with Hopkins being in there, but for me Calderon edges him out.

Cotto is a notch too low. When is Calderon going to get respect...he is one of the most talented boxers in boxing wtf his skills are unreal don't give a **** if no one cares about 105lbs..Skills are skills and he is undefeated and one of the purist boxers we've seen.

Because it's a pound for pound list and his only loss was at 147. He's unbeaten at 140 and clearly the best in the world at present. Has he lost at his normal weight you may have a point, although why not question why Hopkins is still rated at number FIVE(!!!) after losing to Calzaghe

I agree. People have short memories!! Kostya Zoo was p-4-p rated 2 or 3 when Hatton beat him, and Hatton defended his 140 Ring belt three times since. I would say these rankings are about right apart from Hopkins

Accurate ratings, aside from one glaring error...what in the world is Hopkins still doing in the top 10?

Edit: and I would move Cotto up, he has been on fire at 147.
