Paulie is a big name off course. Both of them are no punchers so the chance of this fight going the distance is very high.

If this fight is being made, it's a 50-50 fight. Gavin did really bad in his last showing against Skeete. Malignaggi is a little ring-rusty, but is always ready for a fight.

Little soon for Gavin needs one or two confidence boosters first

the talk was actually once/if one of them picks up the European.

I'd expect Frankie a tune up / commonwealth defence on the Brook card. Then Frankie v Branco for the European headlining the brum card.

Makes sense as Gavin is mandatory for European I believe, and Malignaggi wants to win the belt (Italian heritage) before he retires.

Big ask for Frankie to win IMO.

Don't think Paulie is that bothered with the Italian I saw an interview with him last couple of weeks (dunno what on forgot) and he just saw that as a way back to big fights IF he decided to carry on.

If it's the Gavin that fought Skeete then no but a fit and motivated Frankie without beans on toast and Nandos can win this one handily on points.

Just Hearn namedropping to keep his new fighter happy. He won't fight anyone of note until they've had him headlining Birmingham against nobodies at least twice

Theres no way I can see paulie taking that fight unless hearn is offering some serious cash, which won't be the case.

Gavin and Pauline should have a private feather pillow fight in their own private homes and just like in the ring, nobody really want to watch it or know the result.

I think it's a good name for Frankie if he got the win, but Frankie needs all-out, offensive maniacs to make his style really shine.

Rios, Maidana etc. I know they are huge asks, but even a very similar styled fighter, yet less of a name, is what he needs.
