Szpilka is rated 11 in wbc and a haymon fighter. He has a question mark on his chin and is marketable enough coming of a decent win. This is an OK voluntary IMO. They will probably hype and push for a big fight with fury at the end of the year.

Forget about Wilder. His manager come and say he is not ready for Wlad. He also say to let the kid devolop. Thats mean he will fight bums again.
So Klitschko should fight the best, even for Voluntary defences, but this piece of s***, can fight tomato cans?

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs) is still very much a work in progress, says his co-manager Shelly Finkel. After last Saturday's world title win over Bermane Stiverne, the hype began growing for a fight between Wilder and WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Finkel, who manages Wilder with Al Haymon and Jay Deas, also works closely with Klitschko.

He says there is no need to rush Wilder into big fights against the best of the division; that despite a world title he still needs time to grow and groom his skills.

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”
    -----------------
Thats why Klitschko is so high rated. He always fight the best, not like this p****. After Klitschko retire this *** will duck like hell and will fight tomato for the rest of their life ....

Stiverne did not even bother to try and win that fight. Stiverne has been knocked out, but Wilder could not hurt him. Arreola was beating him before getting caught with a lucky left hook. However, why did Wilder make more money than Stiverne? How did Wilder get ranked #1 WBC and get a title shot? Why did Stiverne not have a rematch clause like so many other fighters, such as Lewis and Vlad? Something smells fishy....................

Why take 10 million for a certain loss when you can milk the belt against guys like Arreola, Perez and Stiverne(II)? The endorsement deals for a defending heavyweight champion...who also happens to be American...would be worth a lot more than what he was offered to fight Sasha...not to menion the actual purses. Then after all that, he can fight Fury on PPV for BIG money.

very true. if you actually believe you can win, a title shot at 500 grand should be more than enough.

There you go you little ***** ***got ***** Lepai got $1.6 million US. I remember them saying something ridiculous when watch the fight. Challenger gets 25% of the purse unless an agreement can be made.

Like I say if Wladimir does not vacate it's a duck by Fury in my eyes.
