Molina has a reputation of taking people 0s and surprisingly beating the sh#t out of fighters hes supposed to lose to . (Ask TMTs Mickey Bey about that) I was a little surprised when he gave Matthysse hell , but then again I wasn't . It was 2 powerpunchers going TOE 2 TOE . Molina has a very awkward looping overhand right that you cant see coming . He just kept catching Lucas with it . Lucas won the battle and war with Molina . Question is , Can Adrein Broner now do the same ??
You can say Khan was robbed against Peterson, but you have to also concede that Alexander vs. Matthysse and Judah vs. Matthysse were robberies. h2h, it really is hard to see anything but a Matthysse KO, even with Khan's improvements under Hunter.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Khan win a decision but then again I wouldn't be shocked to see Khan knocked the hell out.
Khan's "improvements" under Hunter have been fighting guys with low KO rates. That is all they have done. Hunter hasn't changed anything really. It is still the same Khan. A Matthysse fight would go a long way in showing any improvements though.
I'd expect Matthysse by KO Wouldn't be surprised for Khan to put on a great performance and beat him to a hard fought UD. He'd get clipped once or twice but do everything required to remain on his feet...
