if you watch Mosely - mayweather highlights, you can see Floyd can get hit if opponent is fast. Mosely connected two power right hands that wobbled Floyd, twice in same round early on. Pacquiao is faster than Mosely so i expect Pac to connect more often.

obviously Mayweather got it together and outboxed Mosely but it seemed like Mosely wasn't fit enough to keep up that pace he set early on. MAyweather was just physically superior. I will say, Mayweather showed he has a strong chin cause Mosely got him pretty good and Floyd simply just wobbled slightly... I don't see Many winning by KO.

so in short, mayweather is definitely vulnerable to speed, both Judah and Mosely got him good on a couple of occasions but he seems to have a good chin...

I'm sure he'll change it up and walk Manny down at times and show him the high guard, mixing up his defense like Floyd usually does. But overall you are correct in your assessment.

This guy isn't going to change his fighting style at this stage of his career. No way. Floyd will be defensive and look to capitalize on Manny's mistakes when he over-extends for a combination. Which he does quite often. That "jumping in to punch" nonsense is finally going to get exposed IMO.

Dude, an accurate straight right hand is southpaw kryptonite. That's just boxing 101.

So what's the issue here. Saying it will take longer to finish than people predicted. So what? All he's talking about is the deal between the networks. That is the last thing I'm concerned about. As long as PAC and Floyd are on the same page I could care less about anything else. I believe that will work out in the end.

I rather nobody put a deadline on anything. Manny's team is the one that started that **** and now they've backtrack. People need to practice a little patience. Quit acting as though May is next month.

Pac is at his best when his opponent allows him to fight off his backfoot.

I hope you're right and that Mayweather tries to walk Pacquaio down.

Mayweather doesn't have the style, nor are his reflexes up to par to walk a guy like Pacquaio down.

He also doesn't have the size and the punching power. If your aim is to walk Pacquaio down, you are going to take a tremendous amount of punishment in doing so.

I really hope Mayweather uses your advice.

Bradley used it, and Bradley's size and style is are much better accommodated at going forward against Pacquaio, and he still failed. Bradley has also shown the capacity to absorb a tremendous amount of punishment if necessary.

I would LOVE to see Mayweather do this. He would present a much more accessible target for Pacquaio.

According to Dan at ESPN, we're looking at an announcement mid next week at the earliest according to his sources. Likely look for an announcement that weekend or the week after.

Sounds to me like they are close given how complex the contract surely is given you're dealing with two broadcasting companies. Both fighters have agreed to terms. It's only a matter of time before HBO and Showtime work out their details.

Fight is getting made. You'll have to come up with new material.

Both fighters have agreed to terms. Only HBO and Showtime negotiating now.
