Pacquiao needs to stop fighting iron chinned warriors

Otherwise he'll never get another KO

Pacquiao has been fighting nothing but iron chinned fighters ever since his destruction of Hatton and Cotto, not ¨average chinned¨, nor ¨good chinned¨, but pure iron.

you dont get KO's against guys with iron chins, you just dont. they'll finish the fight on their feet even if you beat them to a pulp

Look at this list, it's like a ¨who's who¨ of iron chins. no wonder Pac couldnt get a KO

    Clottey - iron
    Margao - iron
Mosley - his chin is shot now, but it was still iron back then
Marquez - good chin, but it could be labeled as iron due to Marpeds incredible recuperative abilities
    Bradley - iron
Rios - probably the sturdiest chin P4P atm
    Algieri - iron

Pac needs to start fighting average chinned fighters and maybe some glass jaws, his KO% will rise faster than a bullet that way.

assuming Duckweather does his thing again (ducking), Khan would be a great match for Pac, which he'd win by KO

I've made this same point before even on my Young Pacquaio thread.

Marquez and Algieri do not have iron chins

    Especially Algieri

Bradley also doesn't have an iron chin but hes a tough sob with a good chin so close enough i guess

Yes , all of his previous opponents had excellent chins and were incredibly durable .

Manny can still bang his last fight proved that , but I honestly don't see anymore knockouts/stoppages wins for him .

That's it for him . No more KOs

I say it like it is .

If you are referring to Pacquiao's offensive capabilities, I'd say they haven't diminished that much.

He looked really sharp physically in the first bradley fight and in the fourth Marquez fight

Kind of ironic that they were both losses officially

Pacquiao snappy shots can't get a TKO at 140 and up unless he fights amere con.

Pacquiao was robbed of a TKO victory in the Margarito fight.

Pacquiao was robbed of a KO and TKO victory in the Algieri fight.

Bradley no question has a iron chin .

There's no other current WW today would been able to absorb those hellacious punches the way Bradley did against Ruslan .

Any other current WW would have dropped instantly .

Not even Algeiri himself experienced the same punishment that TB did .

Bradley was battered and out on his feet at Times .

Disfigured Algeiri in the second half of the fight with 1 eye shut was not even blinking whenever Ruslan got to him and landed a bomb .

It was as if he refused to be hurt by Anything Ruslan hit him with and he just would not bow down to his punching power .

Both of those men are indeed Iron .

You mean that Pac needs to fight someone who can punch.
Lately all that he has been fighting are powder-puff punchers who cant break an egg.

It's not just the chins. His opponents know he can punch, so they all fight to survive. Before he was getting KO's because the idea was to pressure him as we kept hearing he can't fight off the backfoot. Margarito blocked punches with his head vs Mosley, against Pac he had his guard up and using the jab. Rios always fights recklessly, against Pac he wanted to box and even admitted he didn't wanna open up cos he would get KO'd. Mosley ran, Algerie ran, Clottey turtled up.

The last fighters to go after him we're Cotto (first half and we see what happens) and Hatton.

Last 6 fighters he's fought includes:
Rios, JMM, Mosley. Margarito. Those guys cant break an egg.

    Yep, guy above DKSAB.

pac should have ko'd marg.. but in the last few rounds he showed mercy, he kept looking to the ref to suggest he might want to stop the fight. he should have remembered how much marg spoke **** about his coach and long time friend roach and his condition. that scum deserved the ko victory but ill take a career ending eye injury aswell

algieri was not pacs fault though, he had algieri badly hurt and was going for the kill with chris on the ropes, pac was smart in and out finding good shots and not smothering his work which would have allowed algieri to initiate a clinch, and then for whatever reason the ref just jumps in and calls a break ? takes time to get between pac and chris and push pac back to the centre of the ring, was seriously scratching my head at that one :huh
