There is no issue, as Pac said, Floyd has ran out of excuses or alibis. Floyd was just trying to save face. So he brought up 2 minor details as supposedly why he's been so silent on the issue and why the fight isn't happening, because he cant say he's ducking and he can't use the blood/purse split test.

Heck for months he's been saying Arum this, Arum that, yet when it came face to face with Pac, Arum wasn't an issue, cos he knows what would have happened.

Floyd: "err Arum blocking the fight"
Pac: "Na he isn't, I spoke to him and told him we agree to all Floyds terms"
Floyd: "umm he's still blocking the fight, dont know how but he is..**** whats my next excuse".

That was about as emphatic as it could be, and it confirmed what numerous sources have told Yahoo Sports.
There are substantial issues to be resolved between both Showtime, which has Mayweather under contract, and HBO, which has an exclusive deal with Pacquiao. One source said an impasse in those talks is HBO's insistence on being able to show the replay of the pay-per-view. When the networks worked out a deal in 2002 to broadcast the Mike Tyson-Lennox Lewis fight, they agreed to give the replay to the network of the fighter who won. Lewis stopped Tyson and so HBO showed the replay.

But accourding to a source with knowledge of the situation, that issue has yet to be resolved for a potential Pacquiao-Mayweather fight.

There also remain issues on the promotional end of the deal, though it is not entirely clear what those issues are exactly.

But much work remains to be done, according to persons involved in the talks on both sides, and the earliest at best an announcement could come would be late in the coming week. More likely, if the fight is made, talks will spill over into the middle of the following week.

Many of the terms have been agreed upon, including a split feed of the bout in which both Showtime and HBO talent would be involved. The fight is being targeted for May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

Arum said this on the scene

''There's a lot more work to do... hopefully the work would be done, you have to understand there's a lot of money involved here, a lot of issues. It's a big deal and it takes time to negotiate a fight.''

Whatever happened to the networks coming to a deal quickly once Pacquiao and Mayweather resolve the agreement themselves?

Now Floyd has practically agreed, the networks can sort their business out. There wont be a problem on that end, these networks are ran by businessmen, the egotistical kids. They will work something out.

is this going to be floyd's next roadblock??

is floyd is going to be micro****yzing the deal and make everything how he likes it??

this **** is going to take months, maybe years for them to draw up a perfect deal.

pac might as well agree in writing not to hurt floyd.
