dirrell won the title fighting in a shocker vis bika on the brook / porter undercard, the viewing figures and attendance were **** in the USA so I doubt dirrells that bigger draw, my guess is groves turned down the offer of 150k,

150k seems very low even with the split.

I don't think either man fancies it- Groves probably has something else lined up.

Groves can't handle Dirrell and he knows it. In a ring with Dirrell he's barely worth 100k.. Groves would have long short night lasting 5 rounds until he tasted canvas.

Surely a fight with Abraham is a better option. It's easier to make, easier fight to win and would have more money in the pot.

Lol he hasn't turned down the fight chaps. He turned down the offer . Sauerland flying to LA. This will happen in London and George will be getting a lot more than 150k

Hope there's an atmosphere like the Rebrasse fight. And Carl watching Groves win, trying to hard the snarl.

I would have to make Groves a big favourite in this one. I actually felt Anthony Dirrell should have clearly lost his first fight with Bika bit if Groves has rejected it it's a duck move.

he fights Degale and makes a million, it is not rocket science. Belts can't buy houses, cars. This sports about money. Groves has a family and money is the most important thing for him and them.

It's a paper title anyway. Ward is the champion.

Cool. When's he defending this title? In fact when did he last defend his super middle weight title? Or does he just get to say he's the champ until he dies?

He's rejected terms - not the fight itself. The fight will happen.
