Trinidad won the second half of the fight. de la Hoya didn't do **** but run for dear life. Only any idiot would think de la Hoya dominated the second half of the fight. This isn't olympic style boxing, this is PROFESSIONAL boxing. Flurries in the last 30 seconds in an attempt to steal the round only works if your name is Ray Leonard...

Divac is a notorious Oscar hater and will never give the man credit because he beat up his Hero Hernandez.

WHAT! That is so false. It was trinidad that wanted atleast 60% and priced himself out of the fight. Everyone knew Oscar was by FAR the main draw and obviously WON their first fight. Man you're full of bull**** aren't you

There you go again. Spitting out complete hog wash. Tito's face was BUSTED up, and yet oscars face didn't even have a scratch! If tito was so powerful how was oscar's face unscathed? Oh wait, cause tito couldn't land a punch. But yet tito's face bloody and eye swollen shut, gee wonder who was landing the better shots.

36:10 Oscar lands some mean combo's and again at the end of the round, and the one at the end of the round made Tito stop wanting to trade, easily winning round 5 for Oscar. Pitty pat punches? Ask tito's face about that! LOL
Oscar swept rounds 5-9, also won 1-3.
At the 36:10 mark you hear Alcazar screaming to oscar that Tito dropped his left a bit and oscar capitalized with a beautiful combo ending with right hand and left hook.

To this whole running thing, which is what Floyd does almost every fight, but it at the end of the day it doesn't matter who's going forward or who's going backward, IT MATTERS WHO LANDS THE LEATHER. These idiots can't seem to grasp that fact and only thing to reach at to say Tito won LOL. Gee they know they can't barely find any clips or Tito landing more than the odd 1 punch at time, yet can find TONS of highlights of oscar lighting tito up rounds 1-10.

DLH proved to be the better fighter and should have won on the scorecards but can't cry too much for him after the way he handled himself during the championship rounds(his corner's instructions had a lot to do with that though).

This topic is brought up once a month just to put the boxing-knowledge-challenged on display.

Anyone know what the two boxers think of this now?

Obviously Oscar won in his words he "gave him a boxing lesson"

First ten rounds anyway. It would be interesting to have Tito's take on this now as to whether or not he would admit he lost his biggest ever fight.

Even after calculating the entire AP it comes out to 115-113 for DLH. So those who think the fight was robbery, it was not, the fight was close. I had the same score the AP did and with DLH winning. Though, I gave DLH two out the three rounds in which he was running. I believe the difference lies in what you believe about those rounds, and most of the points made concerning those rounds are good and legitimate for either side so it's just personal preference/opinion. In the end, this is just one of those fights that you go with what the judges decided because it was that close.

    Agreed.
I thought Oscar boxed really well. He didnt work as much from round 10 onwards but had a good round 9 and looked a clear winner to me
