Did anyone else hear carl froch this morning on talksport? i love watching carl adn have great respect for him but he contradicted himself today in regrds to his injury that made him postpone his fight.

carl and eddie have both stated that teh fight with julio chavez jnr was postponed because of an elbow injury. today he is on national radio statin that he is keeping himself in good shape by doin PRESS UPS and sit ups everyday.

i know enough to know that an elbow injury would be worsened by repetative press up workouts.

is this injury made up by him ands eddie to cover up the fact that they couldnt get the fight with chavez jnr on? im not implying that he has used it to duck degale because he explained himself well on that subject.

so is the injury true or made up? thoughts

I injured my elbow once, couldn't bash one out, had to use my left. Press ups are a no no.

Froch's hardcore fans will most likely pay to see him take on Chavez Junior. I'm not amongst them, actually can't stand the guy, so would cough up a PPV fee to see him take on Golovkin and nobody else.

Very suspicious.. I think he ducked DeGale because he knew he'd lose.. Elbow injury a fabrication..

I doubt anybody is surprised by this. It has been obvious for a while that a this point in time he doesn't really want to fight DeGale (or any difficult opponent unless it's for a huge amount of money)

i bent mine the wrong way once, the cartiledge between the bones was sticking out, it was agonizing, there was no way i could do press ups.

i also accept the likelihood of froch getting the exact same severity of the exact same injury is not strong.
