basically, groves doesn't want to get smashed to bits by james degale and is hoping he can get the dirrell fight. saying "he'd rather fight dirrell than degale"

Hearn really should stop with the ill-informed guessing in public about the career of a fighter who has nothing to do with him. It's bitter and pathetic.

There's no way that Sauerland and Groves will agree to co-headlining a card with Degale. Groves is a proven draw in his own right, agreeing to a joint promotion would be nothing more than charity work on his part.

I'd love it though, would be some event, anthony dirrell has been while quiet though is there a chance for this fight to be announced soon or will it be late on in the year?

sky are keen for 2 ppv's per year, with no big fights scheduled, there's a chance someone at sky will think groves vs dirrell, + degale vs dirrell could be packaged on the same card as some kind of ppv event, maybe kevin Mitchell and AJ there too. how it'll work with who'se the headline will be interesting,

groves may be a draw in his own right, but is he that big to get a champion to the UK?

Groves is mandatory yet Dirrell offered him just £150,000 to fight in the US.
I'm not sure if these title fights go to purse bids if terms can't be agreed? If they do then I'm sure Groves will earn a lot more than £150,000! Perhaps Dirrell can be brought over to Europe/UK if the cash is right?

fans are fickle, and while degale's star has been on the rise, judging by recent performances, gg's is on the wane.

not saying what is or isn't, just that we'll see.
