Figueroa by wide decision, or maybe even a stoppage. Omar is on a roll, while Ricky is in a six fight slump. After his impressive win against Mitchell he never impressed anymore and is lucky that he didn't lose 5 in a row since until fighting a lower level opponent.
Burns in his prime wouldn't be hot fav vs Fig, but this shot to sh it version stands no chance. Its a mismatch.
Burns isn't with Frank (the non-Kelly Frank, that is) anymore. He jumped ship to Fast Car Eddie like a year ago or more.
Well then God forbid Fast Eddie turns into Fast Car Edwina.:barf See that's how much I care about the Rickster, hadn't heard that yet.
Yeah, it was a pretty acrimonious split. Lawsuit and everything (big surprise with Frank W. involved, right? :yep) Fast Car went to so much trouble over Ricky only for him to immediately start ****ting the bed with back to back losses and then failing to finish off a feather dusting Frenchman in his comeback tuneup. Talk about buying a lemon! Too many investments that bad and there won't be any more fast cars in that garage...
Another big fight for Burns. How many chances does he get to redeem himself. I think Hearn just hasn't got the testicular fortitude to tell him he's done at world level and wants to milk anything that's left out of Burns's career. If Burns wins it wouldn't surprise me if Hearn pushes for a Mitchell fight later on down the line at Mitchell's comfortably weight or at a catchweight close to Mitchell. It would sell out the O2 so Hearn would be pleased. Him and Brian Rose need to be told the truth about their careers but Hearn like the clever businessman he is will not do that.
Well at least he's got the most out his investment, even though he bought a rotten lemon he's squeezed every last drop of profit he could out of him.
