Cracking little story I hope its true but I doubt it, if so I see it being one of these two guys if it is true though

 

It doesn't trouble me at all that Hopkins was over 40 - he was still a great fighter and remained so for years after. You seem to have a problem with it however as you decided that it had some relevance to a thread about whether Calzaghe was shot as a fighter when they fought and that it was somehow relevent to my post when it was not.

The fact that Hopkins was "40 something" in no way takes away from the fact that he was still one of the worlds best fighters and Calzaghe was able to have a competitive, albeit ugly, fight with him therefore proving that he still had more than enough in his tank to hang at the highest level.

I would be lying if I said I didn't understand why you felt compelled to make a comment about Hopkins age - because I know you hate Calzaghe and feel the need to make disparaging comments about him at every opportunity - but the fact of the matter is that his age was irrelevent to his place as one of the world best boxers when the fight happen and is therefore equally irrelevant when brought up in the context of whether Calzaghe was shot or not when that fight occurred.

And if your comment has no point in the context in which you made it other than to be snarky and bring up information that is irrelevant to the point I was making then you are just being a troll.
