What is your typical training week? How many rest days, roadwork, gym workouts, boxing workouts, sparring, heavybag, shadowboxing? etc. Plus if you don't prefer roadwork, how you replace it? Is swimming better than roadwork?
Monday am - 45 mins crosstrainer Tuesday am - 3 mile run - pm pads bags sparring Wednesday am - 45 mins crosstrainer Thursday am - 3 mile run - pm pads bags sparring Friday rest day or 45 mins crosstrainer (easy) Saturday - heavy bag or 8 mile run Sunday - heavy bag or 8 mile run I sit on my **** most of the day doing my day job so recovery isn't usually a problem as long as my diet is good
Monday - Core workout, rowing, 3-5run & boxing gym in the evening Tuesday - 3-5mile run and pads and sparring with a pal. usually 10rounds of each Wednesday - Bagwork for 2hours Thursday - 3miles and thats it Friday - Freestyle night at gym so lots of sparring and padwork Saturday - 6miles run Sunday - 6miles run All this is usually from afternoon-early evening time onwards, i'm a bricklayer so i'm up early and finish early ish but its gruelling on the body lol
Some people feel swimming is better, Klitschko doesnt run only swims.. I bike for my distance training but i still do sprint work and stairs
