Should FW quickly sign up Carson Jones for 6th March?

Jones would be a step up in competition and the most reputable name on Smith's resume should FW make it happen.

 

FW wouldn't risk it...he's already treading on thin ice with what he's got left.

 

Yes jones is a good test for many. gave brook a hard fight, so i knew he'd beat rose.

Liams opponent will be of the usual liam smith opponent mould....ie a total no hoper and then we'll get ''this years gunna be a big year for me la.....''

Jones is a WW who hearn hand picked for an easy nights work. Liam should be looking at fighting a legit LMW.

 

I agree but FW has 2-3 weeks to find a suitable opponent and produce a fight for Liam which holds some weight.

Jones has a decent reputation over here and does come to fight.

think hes fought most of his career at ww, so he shouldn't have too many issues making the weight

doubt the rose fight took much out of him. Carsons looking for a few paydays, and a return fight vs rose + smith should get him a few quid.
