Failure to get that fight shows the channel up for being the poxy irrelevance that we all know it is.

    Sooner it's finished the better.

    Agree mate

The channel of hardly any domestic boxing should be in hell soon enough.

I disagree. How else will all of the fighters who Eddie Hearn does not sign get on TV. BoxNation is good for the sport. I hope they start covering regular British fights too.

Is this Boxnation hate or Frank ****** hate?

I don't get it, we now have a lot more international fights on TV that you can choose to subscribe to... Where's the problem?

    It's only 12 quid ffs..

I think there is a bit of Frank hate but a dedicated boxing channel is always going to struggle due to the nature of the sport (top fighters only fighting twice a year, matches not being made, injuries etc).

I don't think Frank does himself any favours by consistently saying terrestrial TV isn't interested in boxing either- with the amount spent by his backers on Boxnation he could have a solid amount of dates on ITV/Channel 5. Plus Hennessy (despite his flaws) has always seemed to get terrestrial TV coverage.

It's looking like Sky will cover Mayweather/Pacquiao. Will this spell the end for Boxnation? Probably not as it'll keep going in medium term at least.

have boxnation ever done a one off ppv before? do they even have the infastructure for it?

sky was always the likely provider for the fight. if bn got it there would be all sorts of *****ing about paying twice, or having to sub 4 only 1 fight.

Peoples dislike for FW clouding theyre judgement.

Compare what boxing we got to see on TV in the UK before Boxnation.

    Well worth £12 a month

ITV dumped him, and on Channel 5 he hasn't really been able to compete with pay tv. Eubank Jr and DeGale left him, and Channel 5 presumably aren't willing to pay enough to keep Tyson Fury on the channel.

Yes, sooner BoxNation is gone the better. Then we can all go back to moaning about how there is little boxing on UK TV, rather than moaning about a dedicated boxing channel...

Isn't Frank in the States? He might be trying to do the deal for BN.

What went wrong with the Sauerland deal?

All went quiet and then channel 5 had the rights to a big card before Xmas which was cancelled due to injury. I understand that Sky will be showing the Braemer fight in March

It must make more sense for the Fight Pass Promoters to appear on Boxnation than via web only broadcasting. How come there was no deal? Was there never an offer?

The Broner card on 6 September 2014 was not purchased.

I think there has been a lot of cost cutting - too many weeks without action is very frustrating. The off the cuff Friday shows are OK, but do not make up for the events missed
