    England's royalty made him do it

    I thought it was stupid but he had to face royalty when he returned and probably will make more dough as a "warrior" then if he would have stayed down in the 4th

    He is a bad ass no doubt. I initially had money on GGG stopping him in the 4th and the 5th. when he went down in the fourth i was screaming for him not to get up, he cost me money. Then when he looked almost down and out in the 5th i lumped on him being stopped in the 6th in play. He is a stubborn ****er and he cost me alot of money.

    Well Martinez & Sturm struggled with Murray, so he is some good. But with that being said, his KO ratio of 37% is very very poor for a guy who is supposed to be an elite middleweight. GGG got hit a lot, but ate those shots like it was nothing.

    Hopefully Chavez Jr. is next :deal

    Benoit never was in the "fight world", though. Sports entertainment isn't the same as sport. ;)

    ...but yeah, he probably has tainted its use with the life-imitating-art viciousness of his deeds. :verysad

    Didn't they also have to rename the crossface, which like half the next generation had worked into their repertoire (it was basically the next submission-du-jour after the Sharpshooter and the Figure-4 before it)?

    I wouldn't have made the connection myself (Kessler hits a lot harder and didn't pull the hands-down stuff Murray sometimes does) but there are those similarities you mentioned.
