Did he not just try to survive though?? He didn't look like someone who was trying to win.

And if I got into a ring with Golovkin and got knocked out.... so what?! Doesn't change the fact that he was just surviving in there.

I checked your post history and to be fair you are not a troll, still I massively disagree with you on this topic and so do by far the majority of other posters.

 

Murray def has b@lls and is a hard man but not sure on warrior, a warrior for me would have stood toe to toe and slugged it out till one man was standing. But as said he did more than most which shows the high level of GGG

 

I agree, I dont think he was just a punch bag he gave as good as got on a number of occassions and gave GGG his toughest test yet. :good

The posters that slag the performance are not proper boxing fans and appreciative of the sport.

GGG was just the better fighter on the night but give Murray respect he didn't give up and at times boxed really well under immense pressure. Look at the Macklin and Geale fight, those guys are finished and probably won't recover. Murray done himself proud and keeps himself in contention for another shot at a world title down the line.

He seemed very disappointed that he was stopped. A proud professional!

 

Although outclassed by GGG i do think maurray could beat lee and or quillen or bjs so he should try that route, it will also depend on how much that beating took out of him it could be a career ending beating and he just declines.
