Very poor! Want to address the **** you wrote on my thread about the Fitzsimmons v Ruhlin fight being filmed ?
I'm probably the biggest Monzon fan in this forum, and I don't entertain his chances too much vs Foster. Monzon was smart, you see,...he stayed in his ideal division...and I give him points for that. He was a natural middle, like Foster was a natural lightheavy.
I replied twice and am giving you a second chance. I do not get alerts to posts. Since you are so convinced in your ignorance, a simple wager should not be hard to make. See your own thread.
Well Foster was a little chinny, and lost some decisions. Monzon had great stamina, and the chin to take it. Monzon was a big middle. getting to say 168 for the fight would not take much away from his game. if Monzon can make it to the later rounds, I think an upset is possible
As close to zero as a great fighter like him can have. Foster cracked elite chins like boiled eggs at breakfast. Greatest chin checker of all time at any weight IMO. Based upon what he actually did rather than opinion.
Foster would be to big and strong for Monzon, I doubt Carlos would make it to the finish line, Foster will catch him sooner or later in a long 15 round fight.. Foster KO 13...
It would have meant, in both Monzon and Hagler's cases, whole division leaps and no half steps, as in a junior title in between.
I loved both fighters, they were champs when I first started following boxing when I was 10. Bob Fosters left hook was scary and against a naturally smaller fighter, I think Foster wins, but it is an intriguing match if Monzon could take his punch. Another fighter I would to match Monzon with would be Gennady Golovkin. Or how about Sergey Kovalev vs Foster?
In their respective primes napoles stepped up to fight monzon and got hammered.foster got hammered by both ali and frazier. There's a reason that monzon didn't fight sheriff bob, he'd have been hammered too.
