where does it leave the potential ppv the week before? surely the numbers for that one will be affected big time

If Sky get it I'm sure there will be a UK card on the same night and the PPV will cover both cards.

If they can't move it common sense would be to charge £25-30 for both with an option of £20-25 for the May-Pac fight only, having a prizefighter as a PPV before the big one would be a massive insult

Nah, Hatton brought those buyers. This is a much smaller fight than Hatton v FMj for the UK casual viewer. If this fight does 800k UK PPV it will be a sucsess. Also UK PPV prices are much lower than the states. A big big big fight like this would typically cost £24.99 max ($38.50) with most big PPV fights being in the £14.99-£19.99 ($23.50-$29.99) range.

There is a huge vibe building. Just look at facebook and all the trending news sites that won't leave it alone now. May 2nd is going to be special and create loads of new fans. Lets just hope it's a good fight!

Generally yes they do. They know about Pac and Mayweather but not much else.

    Where are you from?

Frank ****** said on Talksport this morning that BN were still in negotiations for the rights, so its not nailed on to be on Sky yet

This will get loads of casual fans watching, even my Mrs asked me what we were doing for the fight!

Will certainly do well if on SKY £19-95-£24.99 early hours of Sunday morning or not as it is a bank holiday weekend in the UK & Ireland also.

The fight should of been way sooner but it still sells itself to casuals or not imo.

It would be slightly intriguing to see how Sky covered the event if they didn't have the rights to show it.

Frank didn't sound awfully confident on Boxnation securing the rights yesterday.
