The only other ATG in his weight class is Pacquiao. Morales, to my understanding, didn't fight in the same weight at the same time.

Mosley circa 2000. You're right though. You know my stance on Morales and Floyd. It wouldn't have been all that difficult for Floyd to go to 130 to fight Morales, IMO.

It's also debatable if you want to call Bradley an ATG. I'm gonna say no he's not, but he never fought Bradley either.

That was at 126. I'm not sure if Floyd would want to go to 126 to do the same. He probably could have made 126 to be honest with you back in 1999 or so, but he didn't try.

And Floyd was never in a position to fight them.

You don't think Floyd could have made 126?

Depends on the time line. It's not healthy to drop weight.

1999 or 2000? It was extremely possible to fight Barrera or Morales at 126 then.

Problems is once Floyd beats them they won't be considered ATGs anymore...like Manny, against Algeri or Bradley Pac is an ATG but against Floyd he is past prime and shot.

I'm sorry but Barrera, Morales, Manny and JMM are only effective against one style of fighter. That's fellow brawlers. Barrera got bested by Junior Jones. Morales got done up by Zahir raheem. JMM was ineffective against B-,C+ Bradley because Bradley decided to box him. Manny is about to meet his crypotonite in Floyd. All guys mentioned are mostly effective in exchanges. You make them box, then they all look like ****. The only reason Barrera is considered an ATG is because he fought in a lot of wars and was entertaining. He would not be relevant if he was forced to fight more guys like Junior Jones bottom line. I get sick when a pac**** tries to shove Barrera or a morales in an argument like it really holds water. None of you would give Floyd credit if he fought 50 Arturo gattis. That's all Morales and Barrera really did. But after Manny takes this L and gets shown he was never in the same league as Floyd, I won't have to hear this bull**** anymore from pac****s. Boxers usually always win in a matchup of this magnitude. Just the way it is.

And let's all get another thing straight pac****s. The most prime fighter Manny ever faced in his career was Bradley and Chris Algeri. Stop with this Manny faces more prime fighters bull****. It's a lie. Thank you.
