I wouldn't be so sure you know, yes hell of got a lot more than most for the GGG fight (speaks for itself that no one is willing to fight GGG) However I'd say a matchroom contract would be more favourable - both financially & fight wise - in the long term
I think he has to find the champ who doesn't have any sort of Al Haymon or big US network backing and try and get a mandatory slot for that fight. Cotto will be a waste of time, there is a chance of a Lee fight but I see him losing to Quillin and there is no point of chasing this fight, that only leaves Jacobs and the soon to be IBF champion. N'dam vs Lemuiex is the IBF fight and I think there is a chance of getting the fight there because Murray probably suits both in that he doesn't bang much. Jacobs seems unlikely to fight any sort of name but I think he needs a big win to make a real statement so he could chase that
Big ups for trying as best he could-but-a loss is a loss and this has not enhanced his reputation except for taking a beating like a man.GGG in a totally different class and this result proves it.
Is he still with Hatton or with the South African promoter? To be fair his last two fights have been on terrestrial TV here and HBO in the States. I think simply no one wants to fight him to be honest- very high risk for little reward. As for who he fights next- Geale? That's a decent winnable test for Murray that could serve as an eliminator.
I think Murray should be ashamed of himself. How can he sleep at night knowing he's the 2nd best MW on the planet and gave Golovkin his biggest test to date. The mans a disgrace and should retire immediately.
