This is not the first time Rousey headlined an event. She has fan appeal and there's no denying that. Plus she is a fine woman but that don't erase the fact that she don't want none of Cyborg.

haha, that is pretty sad then, and I already said that. Obviously if she is headlining PPV, they are running low on good, male fighters. I don't remember her headlining a PPV event before though, will give you that. She should be fighting on free TV, sure give her the main card, but it better be free. I don't know who in their right mind would spend 60 bucks to see her fight, especially considering she's a judo specialist. Whopedeeedoooo! That ain't exciting. And her ending fights by boring ass arm bar in 1-2 rounds. LOL who the fuk would pay for that ****?

No, that's junk. Anyone who bought that card isn't very smart with their money. Are Zuffa diliberatly trying to ruin themselves? That was hardly even worthy of being a free card, nevermind a $60 PPV.

How is she scared of Cyborg? That fight was going to get made at 135 but Cyborg chickened out getting a doctor's notice saying she couldn't make the weight.

Cyborg has big punching power but she is a very sloppy fighter. People forget that a novice like Carano took her down and had her in full mount.

Rousey would easily take her down and either KO her with gnp or rip an arm off.

There's only so much you can do to dress up a boring spectacle like two guys rolling around on the ground. Now that their testosterone-fueled fanbase is growing up, they're moving onto to exciting sports - like boxing!!!:happy:happy

Look up Tim Means v.s Dhiego Lima, probably the best fight from that card. No ground stuff in that fight. Wish the UFC had more fights like that these days, it's mostly just boring lap and pray wrestling, and cage-hugging. I don't think MMA as a rule is bad, but it's certainly turning into something dreadful. Can't judges all fighters as one though, it's really a mixed bag.

From the sounds of it, the PPV most likely did a lot more buys than people thought it was going to do.

Also, Ronda would beat Cyborg like she does everyone else. The way Chrissy would need to fight Ronda to beat her, just isn't in her. She would need to circle and keep her distance to beat her. Cyborg is a brawler that throws hooks. LOL. One clinch and that **** is done.

The UFC got big by marketing a few of their fighters thereby turning them into stars.

They've lost that formula for some reason.

Gone are the days of Liddell, Shamrock, BJ Penn, Matt Hughes, they were replaced by Silva, GSP, Evans etc, but when they left no one replaced those who retired, in terms of name recognition.

Her debut in the UFC was against Liz Camouche. Which was the headliner. It did 450,000. Reports are saying it did over 500,000. Yea...nobody watched it.
