Murray would outpoint him. I was impressed with Junior's performance last night but not that impressed. He's still neglecting the jab and loading up his shots too much. He took too many punches for my liking as well. If he can improve on his weaknesses then I think he can compete at the very top. But he's just not there at the moment.
However he has come a very close second on two occasions & showed his mettle last week. Yes I know he hasn't won, but let's not forget just how close he came on both occasions (sturm/Martinez) As said before , CEJ would more benefit from fighting the likes of john Ryder, nick Blackwell - as realistically he's probably been projected a little too quick after his last performance. Now compare that Murray hasn't won a "fight of note" to CEJ's record & I'd guess CEJ has won 1 "fight of note" and a lot against journeymen.
Murray is a terrible fight for eubank at this point. Really one of the worst for him that could be made.
Murray is worn. Looked pants in his fights leading up to this. It would be an ideal fight for Eubank because he would win relatively comfortably but I dont think he would learn a lot from it. Also, why do O Sullivan, Blackwell and Ryder keep getting mentioned? Who have they beaten? They are a step down.
Because CEJ got a shot at Saunders without being anyone at domestic level of note. He lost to Saunders, so should be having a couple of lesser fights. How on Earth you go from losing a Commonwealth title fight to then fighting for an interim world title is beyond me. That being said. Chudinov is far from world level.
