Saunders is a good kid but he's getting sparked clean out if he fights Lee and stopped against Eubank in a return..mainly for these reasons I'm glad he glad a good pay off for stepping aside for Quillen
Yeah but if you look to the left of that you are going to be wrong....not right! something to think about.
I don't care wether or not BJS is a bloody Klingon! He is a very good boxer. If he made money taking the step aside good look to him,and I think he beats Lee easily.
seen a couple of sources stating 150k, not sure if this is dollars or pounds. Either way a fair bit for not fighting.
Bruno and Hatton had KO power and were likeable, so I guess they were popular from that. It's a tough one. Naseem Hamed was polarising and everywhere in his hey day, but if Paul Butler goes on to dominate, will he have the same exposure? I can't see it. He's a nice guy too. The media is very complicated, which is why PR experts make such a good living. I think it needs a good back story or a strong personality, and maybe BJS 'grew up in a caravan bare knuckle fighting the neighbours' just isn't a very good story, plus he isn't a very likeable character either, or flashy/arrogant enough to polarise people.
Ha ha ha, a bit harsh but kernels of truth there. I find him down to Earth and fairly interesting but I'm a boxing fan so.....I'm not sure the public at large will ever give too much of a toss. I mean, I was thinking Carl Froch was the man after the spectacular war he won against Pascal on ITV, Saunders is nowhere near that sort of show-stopping level and it took Carl years (and bull$hit reality shows like fu¢king Tumble!) to get as famous as he is now...which is probably less so than David Haye....
