Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Carl Frampton.

Frampton can fight Rigo's conquerer in December. The Irish fighter better be scouting Shingo Wake.

I've only seen LSC in his last fight and he looked like a no-defense come-forward fighter with little power, very far from impressive. Not seen much of Frampton either, but I guess he takes care of LSC, giving him a good beating in the process.

 

Frampton/Quigg/LSC will never be ready for Rigo. They might fight him, but there will never be point in their careers where they will be able to beat him.

So they might as well get it over with, take the learning experience, and move up in weight.

 

Frampton gets the Donaire treatment

 

Seen Frampton fight. Rigo is a bad style matchup for him, Frampton likes to box too much. He is a an inferior version of Rigondeaux that is easier to hit. Good feet, decent speed, good power. His biggest weakness against Rigo though will be his need to plant his feet to unload his power. For all his foot work, he plants solidly when he unloads combinations, the only time he ever fires on the move is his jab. When Frampton unloads his power-shots, Rigo will be nowhere to be found.

All that means is that Rigo will slow the fight down to nothing, and for Frampton to take the lead, where Rigo will counter him to perfection, and keep him turning so Frampton can never plant to unload with power.

Frampton is a good little fighter though, he would definitely batter LSC and Quigg.

 

Ricardo Cordoba never once fought at flyweight and he weighed a lot more than Rigondeaux did on the night.

 

He'll connect, but he won't connect a lot. Donaire landed shots against Rigo, and he's a bigger puncher than Frampton.

 

Let's quit protecting mares and LSC.
