Rousey is fugly.

 

Rousey's winning is more a product of the lack of talent in UFC's women's division than anything she brings to the table.

 

In terms of the way she is dominating women's UFC then yes I can see the comparison, she looks unbeatable just like Tyson did in his prime. Though Rousey still needs to beat Cyborg.

As for Dana White using boxing as a way of promoting UFC, it's a pretty normal thing to do. It's just hyperbole, he could have said Rousey was UFC's Serena Williams or Usain Bolt but boxing is by far the more appropriate comparison. And I don't see it as any worse as calling Mormeck the new Tyson, Lacy as a super middleweight Tyson etc.

 

Incidentally, Ronda Rousey will be the only one to get a free ticket to the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, from Bob Arum himself.
