The Drayton KO was great but Drayton was pretty faded/ semi shot. I'd liken it to the Vincent Pettway KO of the usually durable Simon Brown. Nobody is calling Pettway the greated puncher, but it was even more devastating than Jackson's KO of Drayton.

That said, Jackson's demolitions of Terry Norris and Herol Graham were highly impressive.

Julian Jackson hit harder than even Gerald Mcclellan .

In Todays era , everyone would be ducking him .

Bob Foster is the only other fighter who sprung to mind for me, too. Jackson had ludicrous power and is the best pure puncher I have seen.

I don't think Lee hit harder than Jackson. You must be a Tony Sibson fan justifying his ko loss to Lee:yep

great puncher Jackson, and such perfect delivery, combine the two and you have a seriously dangerous puncher.
He was also very underrated skill wise, he had a knack of landing at the perfect moment. you don't hit herol graham and terry Norris flush on the button without serious skills.
One of the finest knockout artists, in the true sense of the word, in history.

Both Graham and Norris were hands downs, wide open to the shots that Jackson landed. I don't know if it was his skills per se, more the fact he had fast hands and excellent timing.

Generally they were very elusive, especially Graham, but Jackson got them both on the ropes, hands down. Jackson had fast hands and very good timing. Because he was such a dangerous puncher he only needed one opening and one punch to do the job. A nightmare to fight against at LMW and even MW. Unless you had a very good chin one punch would just undo everything you had done before.

Jackson was a nightmare for most fighters. Fast hands + excellent timing + one punch KO power = a bonafide nightmare.

Jackson always fascinated me. His punches looked relatively harmless, but those on the receiving end fell like a sniper had taken them out.

Contrast that with Benn and G-man, where they telegraphed their punches to the point you saw where the power came from.
