    who the hell cares

Its an amazing fight on paper and will probably be in real life

Those that care about it, will tune in and give it the attention it deserves

What boxing fan will not give this fight love just because the fight of the century is coming up?

I hoping this fight gets stopped in 4 and the result ends up being a draw .

    Neither fighter loses .

Im in the same boat. i love both guys, leaning towards matthysse but id like it to be a short fight so these two can still go on and keep their careers going.

yeah I was hoping for mattesye to make another push for a championship, Garcia 2 would have been class, this could end it for him

I think people exaggerate about this stuff. Will Matthysse really take much more punishment than he took from Garcia or more punishment than Bradley took from Ruslan? Okay Ruslan might take more punishment than Matthysse's previous opponents but is he not tough enough to handle it? Other tough fighters have taken punishment and been okay plus referee's get involved nowadays to prevent fighters taking too much punishment.

It's true that the fight won't get the attention it deserves but we all still get to see a great match up so we can't complain. Match ups like this don't happen everyday so we should appreciate it.

Yeah but it might be just one too many for Mattesye if he loses badly he'll have a long road back

If this fight was two weeks after Pac-May it would SAVE BOXING

There are gonna be hordes of casuals interested in boxing after PBC and May-Pac.

This is the fight that needs to scoop them up and cement them

That is why you have good people in your corner and a responsible ref in there. If everyone is doing their respective jobs neither fighter should receive long term damage, regardless of outcome.

If either man will not be ktfo early this will be brutal and bloody fight.

I lean towards Mathysse by stoppage because he hits too damn hard and Ruslan is not hard to catch. I would not be shocked to see Mathysse being stopped either. But someone is getting hurt and I hope not badly.

Part of me cant wait for this fight for the fact is gonna be the fukin ultimate war:lol: but in the other hand I really like both of them and hate to see one or both of them getting hospitalized.

I don't like like to see two sluggers, neither defensive-oriented, going toe to toe.

Makes for great tv, but when they're both good guys, ie not Broners, Stevenson's, L****ns, Mayweathers etc......you don't want to see either one end up hurt or suffer a devastating loss.

Then again, Pac suffered a devastating loss at the hands of Roidquez, and he's about to avenge it by KTFO Mayflower.....

So maybe the loser of this one end up with Garcia and then the once promising but now coward, Garcia, can taste the sweet karma he's earned by his relentless cowering from a Mathysse rematch.

Neither Provodnikov or Matthysse can beat Garcia. Neither one.
