What were some fights where even though a fighter lost, he exposed some weaknesses in his opponent's game?

Martinez-Chavez round 12. But the writing was on the wall in the Murray fight actually.

Bradley Provo doesn't really count - Unless you are referring to Bradleys mental game rather than boxing game.

Bradley tried to go to war with an iron chinned fighter who hits 10x as hard...obvoisly that was never going to work and it sure didn't.

What blueprint to managing to defeat Ruiz did Liakhovich illustrate? "Don't be a tomato can"? :think

And yet he was moving well enough to arguably win a middle round.

Sergio was always overrated on this forum. The fact is every time Sergio stepped into the ring with a hall of famer he was destroyed. Cotto was the best boxer Sergio ever faced, was in his best form and had the right gameplan. That version of Cotto would have beat any version of Sergio.

Lesser fighters like Macklin, Murray and Chavez had been able to knock Sergio around the ring like a rag doll. And yet his fans can't believe that Cotto and Roach were able to do the same.
