BETTER WIN: Pacquiao vs Barrera 1 or Mayweather vs Corrales?

When did Morrales get the best of floyd? As far as I know Floyd and Morrales sparring is rumor.

Not only that when floyd started his career, Moralez was still fighting Bantam weight. And Corrals was 6'0 at 135 and hit like light middle at 135 so Im not sure how these 118 guys like Mab manhandled these bigger, stronger, faster, fighters.

 

Prime JMM went life and death with well past prime Barrera and got knocked down, so its not clear

 

It's in an L.A. article, but there's a video not long ago Morales was interviewed and he mentioned besting Floyd and in another Floyd says they were sparring partners. It's not uncommon for smaller fighters besting much bigger, taller fighters bro it happens all the time I'm really surprised how many are shocked by that. Morales had a vast boxing brain, born in a boxing gym, learned to box since he was 6. I'm not sayin he was unbeatable, cuz no one is, but it is what it is. Later, a past his prime Morales would get bested by Valero and after that a prime Robert Garcia took him out in one round. But when you have 2 fighters at their very best, there can't be no excuses there.

 

I don't know why Floyd fans have problem believing morales' schooled floyd in sparring. Spadafora easily boxed floyd's ears on their sparring, how much more an ATG (who ranks higher than floyd himself) in morales who is as tall and has an equal reach as floyd.

 

Most of the trolls on this thread claiming to know how to rank the fab three mexicans clearly weren`t watching boxing when they were actually fighting. Nice try though guys....

Well to put it simply Floyd was the favorite going into the Corrales fight, but still it was a great great performance.

But I have to go Manny on this one as he destroyed a legend.

 

Marco was I believe #03 P4P at that time and has beaten the likes of Morales and Hamed. Pac win was massive and the result TKO further solidified the win all the more impressive imo.

Corrales was a slight favorite. Odds are irrelevant though. You can't penalize a fighter for being highly regarded.

 

Pacquiao over Barrera and I dont think its all that close

Maybe this is with extreme hindsight but Barrera is a much better win and it was a dominant win
