haaaa...The difference in weight between the Oscar that fought Floyd and the one that fought Pac = 9lbs

The jump in weight limit for Pac when he fought Oscar = 10 lbs

STOP BEING SO BIAS. It's getting annoying

9,10 lbs is nothing sometimes, and other times its HUGE...I guess it just depends on whether it works in Many's favor or not:patsch:patsch:patsch

    What a joke

Even including that. DLH was drained so he wasn't all that powerful. DLH was old-ish and drained so he was at a massive speed disadvantage. It was a good win but Pacquiao has numerous better wins imo.

I think this was one of Cotto's worst training camps in his pro career. Remember he was trained by Santiago(or whatever his name was) who wasn't a pro trainer, he was like an assistant coach.
So that could have been one of the worst versions of Cotto we have seen.

Ha. Oscar winning 3 rounds = almost beating....

2 different fighters...comparing the 2 fights as equivalent is moronic... And unless you are boxing noob you should know that older fighters have a lot of trouble dropping weight classes.

I can't wait til I can objectively discuss Mayweather vs Pac

    1. who said Pac and Floyd faced the exact same Cotto? i never said this so stop shoving words in my mouth. My argument, as i have clearly laid it out, is that even though Cotto was prob below his most comfortable weight, the way Pac beat him deserves credit. This is why i bring Floyd into the conversation because i simply do not see floyd dominating a 145-7 Cotto the way pad did; in fact, not even close. So my only argument is that it was STILL IMPRESSIVE. You are resorting to a straw man argument making it look like my argument is that both faced the same Cotto; you pulled this from deep in your ****.

    2. So why bring ODDS into the conversation? it appears your argument is 'better odds - better fighter'. Well, go ask DLH who was favored vs pac by roughly same odds Floyd is favored vs Pac. Also, if you haven't noticed, the odds have been closing because Pac betters have been flowing in... In any event, ODDS are totally irrelevant and your argument of 'see, floyd has better odds so means he faced a better DLH and Cotto' is just ridiculously flawed. His odds are better cause he has a 0 whilst PAC has 5 losses, nothing more. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT VERSION OF COTTO AND DLH THEY FACED.

    3. You talk about being objective i can sniff out your bias and put at end to straw mans will you?

I was more shocked when he dismantled Oscar and Hatton.

Oscar because he was so much bigger .

Hatton because he blew away the 140 lb linear champion.

    The draining was real

DLH was about to pass out

I'm a pacquiao fan and that was an impressive moment in his career but overall I don't know how great of a win that was

1- haa. This is too much. I believe we began this exchange when I mocked the premise of this thread. I did so because my basic sentiment was..." obviously it's not the most impressive win of the decade when you consider the level of competition....145 lbs Cotto < 154 cotto". You seemed to have a problem with that sentiment, then we began our exchange...As I said before, it was a good win for Pac, but certainly not "win of the decade"

2-I already discussed what my point was when mentioning odds, I won't be redundant.

3- Ha. It's tough for you to make an argument that I'm creating a "straw man" argument, when I'm simply responding to the thread's title.

I find it interesting how Pac****s remember this fight. May 2nd will be funny as it will hopefully knock them out of their delusion.

Pacquiao won, but he didn't "destroy Cotto." Pacquiao took a good share of punishment himself. Do we really need to show you a picture of him after the fight? An impressive performance to be sure, but not the destruction these idiots would have you believe. And Cotto could have won that fight in my view if he would have stayed behind his jab. For whatever reason, made the mistake of exchanging with Pacquiao. Foolish.

Ricky Hatton was destroyed. Watch the two fights and if you can't see the difference. *shrug*
