I think Broner is an excellent boxer and very talented. I enjoy watching him fight. I question his work ethic. That arrogant attitude needs to be checked at the door before he enters the gym. I seriously doubt that is the case, and his inability to make 140 pounds (2nd time he's missed weight in his young career) would indicate the work isn't being put in at the gym like it should be. Broner's defense needs work. He's too flat footed, and he's not active enough. It's clear he has stamina problems and needs to pace himself. (Again, questioning that work ethic in the gym)
The more he can get people to hate him the better for him. He puts on an act that is ranked up there with Slic Ric Flair
Exactly...broner moved laterally in the pocket and outjabbed molina. hit molina with combinations, slipped molina's punches then landed his own counters....stepped around miolina flat footed much of the time. that's why the crowd booed molina when he tried to complain about broner "running"... not broner's fault molina lacks skill. molina needs to upgrade his game. i ALWAYS enjoy watching broner...he's one of the most talented, entertaining and fun fighters around.
it's the same thing they do in pro wrestling...they're playing a role in order to get the audience riled up. people have to be pretty dumb not to see that...but in some cases, they also WANT to believe that's the guy's true personality, so they can disguise their hate for him as something other than what it truly is.
I do. He just needs to open up more in my opinion. This would mean being more at risk for counters but when he did find those moments where he'd string together 3, 4 or 5 punches together Adrien shined. He should do it more often especially against guys like Molina....on NBC network TV...
